That's what makes it great...it builds the suspense and makes you want more.

And since the revelation of Desmond being in the hatch is your most shocking moment, would it have had the same impression if they had revealed that in the finale?

Actually, the Desmond reveal was brilliant and they could have done it either way. To have a guy poke his noggin out there would have been brilliant also. But...

The way that MOSMOF opened was perfect and would have been Lost if they showed it at the end of the finale. The way that we didn't knwo whose eyes those were in the opening moments really confused you until the moment of the big reveal. Very cool.

But I was hollerin' at the tv during the finale. Pretty gutsy decision.

When Shannon kissed Sayid.

All I was thinking is "Nooooo! Not the useless twins! Pick me, Sayid! Don't kiss that useless slut!"

That was my big Noooo! moment.

I kinda missed the whole gap between the first and second season because I didn't start watching it (nor had access to it) until it came on on DVD in Taiwan. Now I'm going through that because I am stuck on SOS and have no hope of getting another episode until season 2 goes on DVD. My friend was downloading them for me through a pay site (or else I would have never been here), but she packed up her computer and flew back to North America this morning so now I have no way to see current episodes unless my mom sets up a webcam that faces the TV when it comes on. Except there's a 12-hour time difference so I'm at work when Lost comes on live (and my boss and students probably wouldn't be too happy with me if I ignored them for an hour to watch TV).

I'm so buggered.

Ok, some points you need to learn if you're serious about your 'Lost' fandom.

First...Get better friends. If your friend is going to leave with 5 new episodes left in the season, she's not your friend...she's evil. If she was your friend, she would have left the computer.

Second...Talk to your mom. I think that because she loves you she will do whatever you ask her to do. Have her tape the rest of the episodes and then send them to you. If she does this every Thursday then you'll only be a week behind.

Third...If your mom can't tape the episodes, quit your job. If they don't understand your loyalty to 'Lost', you don't need them. In fact, why aren't THEY watching 'Lost'? This tells me that they have serious issues and you should stay away from them at all costs. You can ask for your job back at the end of the season. Just tell them that you had to watch 'Lost'. They'll understand. If that doesn't work, tell them to call me, I'll take care of everything.

Well, since we've been arguing over which moment was the most shocking, (THE MAP!!!) it wasn't that hard to remember.

The rest of the stuff is strictly for blackmail purposes.

My most no moment is just about everytime Jack one-ups Sawyer. I think I'm too pro-Sawyer, because I am so anti-Jack. I get really sick of him acting like he's in charge of everyone. I'm a man of faith.

It has to be when Walt was kidnapped. My husband was out of town, so I had to watch it by myself. I slept with every light on in the house. I am sure you could see my house from space that night it was so lit up!

again... Shannon's dead... I LOVED that character... she could have become a much better person on that island... and I loved her for trying to be better even though everyone thought she was useless... and I cried

Claire coming back to the camp made my mouth fell open also...

The whole Lockdown episode gave me shivers....

Boone's dead...

and ofcourse the season finale...

Maybe not the must "nooo" moment, but the episode in which Jack had to break the news to Shannon about Boone's death was excellent. The whole beach scene at the end where you see Shannon returning with Sayid and you know Jack has to tell her; in my opinion one of the most effective and powerful scences in lost.
