Yeah, that reminds me of those bad voice-overs when such stellar films like Smokey and the Bandit.... or something along those lines. Of course this was eons ago when I was a kid... and I would wait for the cuss word and then laugh my butt off at the "filler".

Breaking Bad: Without ruining anything for those who haven't seen it -- 2 weeks ago, the "intervention scene"...best 10 minutes on television so far in 2008. Funny turns Gut-Wrenching and completely sympathetic. Amazing.

And this last week with Tuco? BRILLIANT. Don't mess with a science teacher.


Dexter: 1st season follows the book pretty close, they change the end results a bit - but that's just for better tv. The author, Jeff Lindsay, actually loves the show and says they took his character down a different path and it's perfect. 3 novels...and now 2 seasons of decent "adult" tv content. I can't get enough.

And Rita? I love Rita....

I have to say that when Tuco turned all "yes sir thank you sir may I have another" I laughed my ass off. GREAT scene. I really REALLY hope they stick with this one.
