Grey's Anatomy Finale

OMG... what a great 2 hrs... funny, dramatic, shockingly sad. And the requisite cliffhanger at the end. I hope Lost can live up to this finale. The writers did a fabulous job (despite killing off adorably sexy Denny).

I thought the finale was good then bad then good again. The part where they were all together in the Cheif of staffs office giving their sad story was a little much for me. In reality - the Cheif would have come down pretty heavy after what had happenend. The cover up just seemed a little much is all.... HOWEVER: Denny dying was an amazing angle that I just didnt expect. Same with Preston being shot... I was also reasonably impressed with Karev coming through in the end...

And the finale's ending with Meredith having to choose - she'll go with Isi.

I loved the scenes with each of them in the Chief's office. Sure they'd all be suspended in real life but the point was to show each resident's persona in a nutshell... like the Chief just staring down George 'cause he knew that was the way to get to him. And Izzy talking about having to deal with the "blonde-big boob" prejudice. And Christina wanting to "keep her edge".


And your idea about Meredith and Izzy is GREAT.
