I hate church!

I have spent many many hours in church in the past ..and am out of that loop currently- and frankly - I miss it.
All that has been said here is true=- Church can be boring - but my thought is that God is not boring.
theres a great song by Sam Philips that rings true for me-
I need Love
not some sentimental Prison
I need God
not the Political Church
I need fire
to melt the frozen sea
inside me
I need Love.

Well - we all agree that God is Love.
Make your quest to find out more about God, and the things involving Church will hopefully come together.

and hey- if Hes as Big as you thik He is- hes not troubled by a bit of sounding off.

and I think Ekos idea is a GREAT one - they need a church on the Island- for those who desire such things in their search to know God Better.

uhm.. *raising hand* no not me - i don´t believe in god anyway - and especially i don´t think the guy all the christians are talking of is a good god.
he is an idea, made up by a genius- and was abused by some guys who were more genius -and evil. they supress mankind and grow like a disease. the whole bible,religion, god thing is made for one thing - to controll people - either by fear - or false hopes.

i don´t want to offend anyone here who beliefs - but you have my sympathy.
