Dharma Special Access

Those of you who were involved in the Dharma Wants You ARG, you will already have this. For everyone else, due to financial constraints, the planned ARG was scrapped. In order to try to appease those of us who were Dharma Recruits, they have decided to send those of us who signed up weekly e-mails leading up to the start of the season. The e-mails are going to contain exclusive content and behind the scenes stuff.

Since only those who signed up for the ARG will get the e-mails, I will post the link and the password given each week so that even those who didn't sign up for the game can get the inside scoop as well.

This week has three video spots on it, one is Damon and Carlton explaining the situation, a second is footage from a book signing and the third is a recap. I assume that it will get better as we get closer.

The DSA session this week includes a preview of the season 4 DVD/Blue Ray, an interview with Rebecca Mader (Charlotte Staples Lewis) and a sneak peak at the season premiere with brand new footage!

EDIT:Woo-hoo! I just watched the preview in the DSA video and it seems that SOMEONE has learned to count!!! Someone, unnamed of course, has asked for a blood sample for Kate and Aaron!!! This was something that REALLY bothered me and I am so happy that it is being addressed.

no...the code is only good a week at a time. You can see the old content on the Dark UFO site where they are able to post video (I would do it here, but I just don't know how) although last week's content was really lame--just an explanation of why they stopped the ARG, that this is the replacement, some bookstore signing and a beginners guide to Lost, which is not needed here! The letters that we get say that the content is only "special" for something like 48 hours before it gets wide release so you may be able to find last week's somewhere else as well...but like I said, last week's was not really "special" at all!

This week's Dharma Special Access content has a brand new video about the LOST BOOK CLUB , including a special reading from a book that appears this upcoming season and a first-look at an as-yet-unseen Dharma station logo.

The e-mail itself had a little preview (if it can even be called that) of the first three episodes of the season:

This week's DSA video is a but of a let down. It is essentially a Christmas greeting from Damon and Carlton and plug for the Season 4 DVD. I don't yet have the DVD so I can't be sure, but is sounds like the cutsie flash forward to themselves part of the video may be the same flash forward to themselves that appears on the DVD. If this is the case, then that part of the video isn't really all that exclusive to begin with. In my opinion, this DSA doesn't really give us any inside information--sure they talk about course corection, but that is nothing new. The only part of the video that could possibly be seen as a clue or sneek peek is a very quick look at new cast members Caesar and Ilana played by Saïd Taghmaoui and Zuleikha Robinson at the end of the video.

Okay guys...I am not the kind of person who actually believes that my little contribution here has any effect on the Lost producers...in fact I would be shocked if they even read what we post here, but I gotta say, something a little spooky is going on with this week's Dharma Special Access...

This week's DSA is another Q&A session with Damon and Carlton.... There are some very interesting questions and answers. For instance, D&C tell us for certain that this season will provide an answer to the mystery of Christian Shephard's white tennis shoes and that we will find see more of the four toed statue in the next 2 seasons. Plus a commercial for Ajira Airways...great stuff, but not particularly odd.

The strange thing about this week's DSA has nothing to do with the video and everything to do with the password. As many of you noticed (and correctly called me on) I wrote that last week's DSA video was "lame". This week the password is emal...which is lame spelled backwards! I am a little freaked out about this and am wondering now if it is possible that someone on the show is keeping tabs on our little website! So what do you guys think...it is a coincidence or not?
