My theory? Penny isn't Charles Widmore's only daughter. She might be the only one he knows about, though.

If Penny gets killed it will happen by Ben. Ben may be telling Jack he has some ideals because he is hoping that he knows where Desmond & Penny are hiding. He will use that to get to Penny and get his revenge. Then again since Penny is innocent he may help them all to get back to the island and then go to Charles telling him he will never see his daughter again (not telling him that she is on the island with Desmond). Charles will think the worst when he can't locate them.

I don't think Charlotte is Penny's other sister; Charlotte could be Annie-Ben's childhood Dharma friend. But then the age difference...just a guess

You know, I really hope you're wrong about this one. Penny and Desmond, to me, ARE the show. All the other couples couldn't even try comparing, and I'm sick of all the love triangles and paternity debates and whatnot, Penny and Des have the love without the complicated junk that goes between. Destroying something as amazing as that would be a horrible jump the shark moment for me.

I really hope Penny does not die. I love her and Desmond, they are my favorite. For her to die now, after all the time both her and Desmond spent looking for each other would be awful. I would like if Ben tried to kill Penny and Desmond came to her rescue and killed Ben instead. If someone has to die it should be Ben...

I definately think that Charlotte could be Penny's sister. Then, if so, let's kill her and not Penny!

I do also agree that the Penny/Desmond reunion was too happy. However, that does not necessarily mean that Penny has to die to make up for the joy in a dramatic fashion. There are a lot of things that could make their relationship more rocky (as if it needs that!) that does not involve her dying!

When I get "afraid" of something happening that I don't like, I go through the 5 stages. What you read here was my acceptance stage. I do NOT want Jin to die. I don't want Penny OR DES to die. I also was ADAMANT about Charlie not dying. And he did. And the show survived. Though sadly, Claire got less to do. But believe me, the "real" me wants Penny to live too. And I also think they're sisters.
