Absolutely agree with this one. When they did it, my jaw dropped. Only a few shows have done that to me. And Michael Emerson is unspeakably good in his role. To think that he was only going to be in for 3 episodes of Season Two. There is where the LOST creators have shined: recognizing when they have something of genius and remolding the show around it.

This moment completely shocked me. Most shows would have forced an out, would have kept Alex alive. This moment was brutal and heartbreaking. Definitely memorable.

Alex has to have been one of my favorite characters and I was shocked when her end came like this. As a tv fan, you learn to read the foreshadowing in most situations, but this one shocked me.

Lost definetly doesnt fall short on the surprising moments and that scene definetly is at the top of the list. i really liked her character even though they never really gave us to much about her. i would like to have seen her have a bigger role, but now she will just be another great moment in a great show.
