|
There are some people who can keep secrets and some who cannot. I have friends who are incapable of holding in a piece of gossip for more than a couple hours before they give in to their instinctual desire to spread their knowledge. Of all the secrets currently tormenting TV fans, there is none greater than the ending of Lost. What will the last episode of Lost hold, what will it mean, and who does it involve? What happens in the final scene? It was though that only Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse, J.J. Abrams and maybe a member or two of the Lost writing team were privy to this information. According to a recent piece by UK's The Daily Mirror, however, we can add another member to this Lost Series Finale Circle of Trust: Matthew Fox.

To read the rest, click here.

|

| That is way interesting. It makes me wonder if some of the flash forwards that we have seen are immediately preceding the series finale. hmmmmm..... |

| If this means that the final episode of Lost will be Jack-centric, then this can only be disappointing as I believe his one-dimensional character is by far the least interesting. I get it; Jack has father issues and his moral compass is torn by conflicting emotions, lets concentrate instead on other intriguing characters liker Ben and the freighter people instead of highlighting, continuously, the struggles of Jack Shephard throughout the serties. |

| Oscar, can I ask the question: Do we trust the Daily Mirror? I am not making a statement, I am asking a real question here. I do wonder, if he'd been told he might also have been sworn to secrecy. I find it slightly odd that the rest of the cast and crew (and now us) know that he knows. If it's a burden he had to bear and he did it completely alone, then it would be a helluva lot easier than if the whole world knew he was in the Circle of Trust. That said, I believe it. And you're right - it would be a necessary evil for Matt to know in order to play Jack to the fullest. I think. And despite what some think, I've always thought Jack, Sawyer, Locke, Ben, Sayid, Jin, Hurley, Desmond and Charlie of various personifications of the Prodigal Son. How EACH of their stories play out is integral. |

| It doesn't necessarily mean that Jack will be the last centric-episode. How do we know they haven't told any other cast members? I find Evangeline Lilly the shows breakout star, not Matthew Fox. Chances are that if Matthew Fox was told the ending of the series so were others. |

| You know the writers love Star Wars alot, and cast members of Star Wars were told one thing and then when the movies came out scenes were different than what they were told, so this could be the writers telling them one thing and doing another. |

| I'm surprised in one sense, but not in another. It probably is just necessary for Matthew to know to be able to play Jack properly in the upcoming seasons. Makes me wonder though... |

| I really hope this doesn't mean another Jack-centric finale. Lost has so many awesome characters, I'd like to see someone else stand in the spotlight this time. But I agree with 80sPro--if he was sworn to secrecy, why even say anything at all? |
