We're less than one week away from Lost's two-hour season 4 finale.  Lost finales have been uniformly great and mind-blowing, and fans will surely expect nothing less from the conclusion of “There's No Place Like Home.”  Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, in recent interviews, have been trying (or so it seems) to temper audience expectations regarding a big twist.  There may not be one – which, given the lead up to the finale, makes sense.  There are questions to be answered.  Mainly, how and why are the Oceanic 6 taken off the island, and what happens to everyone else?  If there is no major twist, than perhaps we can better guess what might happen in the finale.  These are my five predictions for the finale.  Feel free to lend your own in the comments below.

Good article Oscar! I am still unsure if the island will move physically or in time. If it moves in time, that means it will stay in the same physical location, meaning Widmore should be able to find it. The fact that Ben tells Widmore in London that "you will never find the island" leads me to believe that the Orchid Station will instantly move the island to a random location on the globe. I think your take on Jin is spot on! I bet Sun will be flying away in a copter and see the freighter blow and think Jin died, but you are right, I bet Michael will be the one who sacrifices his life to save Jin and Desmond. As for Claire seeing Aaron, Aaron is with Sun on the freighter right now. I highly doubt we will see much more of Claire this season, and I am convinced she will NOT see Aaron. Kate will have to take Aaron because she is the only white female in the O6. Acting as if Aaron is her baby is the only thing that makes sense.

I'm not sure about Jin either. I'm all but positive that he is not actually dead, but I don't know if Michael will be his savior. I think that some of those that stay behind (i.e. Not the O6) will be able to leave the island but just simply can't be identified as from the 815. Kind of how Michael has existed under a different alias. Maybe that is what Kate was doing for Sawyer (when Jack was getting his feelings all hurt). Maybe they all are like Sayid, James Bond-esque? I am so looking forward to the Season Finale.

I Really Think That Jin Will Not Die.
The Way You Say It, This Finale Is Not Going To Be As Good As Season 3s.
Oh Well, It Will Be Great!

I think it is going to be great because I think that the O6 is not necessarily going to know what the fate of their loved ones is going to be. I had a Sawyer/Kate kiss being the "hot" kiss in the finale too, Oscar. I can't see it being anyone else. That is where she will promise him that she'll look after his little girl. And interesting thoughts about moving in time - it will make it harder for Jack to find if that is the case. Interesting.....oh man, I can't wait!

Item #1 might happen... probs not though. The other 4 items have about a 0.003% chance of happening.

I totally agree with 1, 2, and probably 5. 3 and 4 I'm not so sure about. At this point though, I'm really not even sure what to think about anything! Nothing ever seems to happen the way I expect, lol.

i had the same view on sun's/jin's situation. sun was genuinely upset at jin's grave, she definitely thinks he's dead but i'm sure (and hoping) that jin is alive, and there will be a reunion at the end of season 6
