Worried about Aliens....

Anyone else getting worried that there might be aliens in the LOST universe?

The island moving was very Star Gate. It just looked like a space ship or something. I really hope that there are no aliens.

But the whole island moving means that they really don't have to explain anything in a realistic way anymore. Which sucks.

haha i seriously doubt there are aliens. that would be a pretty bad twist. Im hoping more for an ancient civilization.

I don't think there are aliens involved at all in Lost.

I also don't necessarily believe that the producers no longer have to explain stuff in a "realistic way" anymore...have they really been all that "realistic" up until now? Jacob...Charlie appearing...Desmond seeing the future...conscious time travel...Dharma...basically the entire show, has it been very "realistic" or more based on theory and scientific theory. The Island moving, I believe, will fall into similar "logic" that will be explained. Dark matter isn't all that realistic either, though there are theories to support it.

It's fiction, and we should enjoy it as such IMO

I'm not thinking aliens. I think we've seen evidence of some sort of advanced ancient civilization, though. The four toed statue, the heiroglyphics down in the frozen wheel room.

It sure as heck better not be aliens!!!

I agree with the prevailing consensus that it will be some sort of ancient race of people with highly advanced technology.

I mentioned in the thread on Widmore moving the island that I'm starting to think the ruins are a future civilization that has been moved back in time (possibly to the time of the black rock) and the smoke monster is all that is left of them and their technology. Possibly also the voices...
