Okay...just now finished watching, although I am going to have to rewatch part because my G.D. Direct TV went out (just the network channels of course) from around 10:30-10:40, so I missed the island moving, the crash and all that followed. Over all, a pretty good episode... TV Guide said that Dr. Candle would be in the episode...it is stretching it a bit to say he was "in" the episode (unless he appeared again in those few minutes I missed)... Keamy and Sayid's fight kicked ass... Keamy coming back to life was crap because they showed him all dead looking--with his eyes open and vacant...that seems like it would be pretty darn hard to fake! Great moments... Sun screaming for Jin...Sawyer sacrificing himself for the greater good (and what a kiss!!)...Penny and Des' reunion And Locke being Jeremy Bentham or whatever his name is! I wonder how he got off and what he said that made Kate so pissed that she didn't want to even pay her respects? Do you think that if they take Lock back he will come back to life? Clearly, we know now, the island somehow "needs" those people in order to function properly. I suspect next season we will find out what happens on the island that is so bad. Now we know for sure that this isn't Charlotte's first visit to the island, as many suspected. Obviously Faraday didn't know, and it looks like whats-his-name is a real psychic! More later...

God Dammit! I can't believe it was Locke in the coffin! ![]() Overall i really liked the finale, tons of great moments. Loved it when Sayid kicked Keamy's ass. and i am so relieved that Desmond got his happy ending (even though i know its not the end for him). It was interesting to see Christian appear on the freighter, you would think he could only show up on the island. Even more interstingly he told Michael he was free. When the island disappeared, i was totally blown away. The only thing that shocked me more was when Hurley said he couldn't believe Locke moved the island, Jack said no way. I mean are you f*cking kidding me Jack? Are you serious? God, you deserved to be a drunken idiot in the future. ![]() God, im gonna go crawl in corner and cry, i cannot believe Locke is dead. he was my favorite character. They better bring him back...

I thought this was the best finale yet. I was really into the episode...2hrs passed like nothing. I was still expecting SOME hints of answers to big questions, so shame on me for thinking they'd give that to us. Some things on top of my mind at the moment about the episode... * Jin dying? Is he dead or was he far enough out on the freighter to not get blown up completely? * Ben moving the island. Holy sh*t!!!! The damn island MOVED. What's the thing Ben turned, and why is it freezing down there...and why does Ben end up directly in Tunesia the instant he gets teleported off the island? I loved how they brought that story line together though...w/the parka, the cut on his shoulder. OBVIOUSLY Ben throws up but it has nothing to do with anything he ate or drank beforehand...he's simply sick from the travel. * Locke in the casket!!!! WOW, I know many people guessed this (I was one of them) but it was still shocking to see him in there. And Ben telling Jack, "He's gotta come back with us too"...bloody hell! * Kate's dream, with Claire visiting Aaron---that gave me CHILLS! So I'm thinking Claire is dead, and now is acting through the island in dreams and visions. Another WOW moment for me. * Penny & Desmond reunion...sweet, but anti-climactic IMO. * Ben killing Keamy---awesome. Sayid kicking Keamy's ass---even better. * Christian appearing to Michael before he explodes, to tell him he can go now...awesome dramatic timing. Cliffhanger-type. "You can go now...BOOOM!" My head is spinning & I need to watch the episode again, but I was thoroughly satisfied with this episode. Lots going on, action packed, and plenty of plot advancement. Good stuff, Lost!

Not sure I got as excited as the rest of you.. There were some great moments.. Evil Penny to the rescue... Kate working with Richard to free been so she could get Her Deal... Keamy Sayid.. good fight... but Sayid losing in the end to be saved by Richard pissed me off.. Charlotte... had a feeling... Widmore would have known she was supposedly born on Island.. and could be the first one... Alex second.. then Aaron... or some such nonsense... The Devise... interesting... the Island holds... Exotic Anti-Matter.. oooookkkkk.... if you say so... I was a bit disappointed as to the special effects... especially the ocean.... but it was interesting to see... and explained Ben's arm injury as nothing related to the actual shift in space or fight his way to the devise... but these little criticisms are really minor.. overall... it was a good finale... not great..and it severed its point..... answered some questioned.. and still left us wanting more... Locke in Box.... not surprised... Locke is traveling under an assumed name... Not unlike Ben and his horde of passports... Locke is recruiting.. not unlike Ben did after the purge... bringing HIS PEOPLE tot he Island... problem is... Locke picked the KNIFE.... he may be home... but he is not the true LEADER... wonder who that will be.... Christian.... bad Choice here... how much better would it have been to see Analucia and Libby???? now that would have been justice... but the Island was having none of that.. Hurley lies to Walt and leads him to believe Daddy is still alive.. that was crappy... since Walt already knows he has to go back.... Locke came to see him as well.... a lot of other questions.. and observations... but I haven't finished my first cup of coffee.. and really want to re-watch it all again..... but in closing, I to have tons of questions.. about.. Miles... Juliette... Daniel..Charlotte.. Desmond/Penny and Lapidus off Island.. And does anyone get the feeling... SUN IS AFTER BEN...?? or is trying to sucker Widmore... Either way... I hope Ben succeeds.... A Penny for an Alex.... most fitting indeed.....

| Senior Member ![]() | Uh, Edgar Hallowax/Marvin Candle did appear in the orientation video for the Orchid ... is that what you mean, Lost_Grrl? I agree with Talontbo - good episode, but as far as "excitement" goes, The Constant was better. Starting to answer some questions, but I'm REALLY looking forward to how Ben convinces Jack to "put the band back together" in order for Ben to find Desmond and Penny (who he plans to bury). I mean, he sent Sayid for Hurley, right? And on the comment with Locke choosing the knife and not being the "real leader" -- full on agree! I'm not sure the "Others" know who their leader is - they seem awfully willing to let Ben/Locke just walk into camp and take over. Almost like Richard is the "power behind the throne" and the rest is smoke and mirrors. As a finale - good job in answering some stuff...but there's so much time before Season 5! |

Ok I agree with Locke not be the leader that they are waiting for, could it be Jack? I mean his Dad is obviously someone very important to the Island...I think there waiting for Jack to realize his destiny.

Another question just popped into my head...why does everyone refer to Locke as Jeremy in the flashforward? I was assuming that Locke was using a fake name like Ben always does when he travels, but Sayid, Hugo, Walt...they all call him Jeremy instead of Locke.
