lmao at talontbo "evil penny" - you just won't give up on that, will you?

i thought it was an awesome episode - had me on the edge of my seat the whole time!
i was a little cheesed at seeing that he moved the island by physically turning a giant wheel. it was cool, but i think i was expecting more. i'm not sure what - just more.

hey Rivum..

Evil penny has a habit of always being in the right place at the right time... whats up with that??? I'll tell you...

when Bennyboy catches up with her... she will be in the right place at the right time then... won't she.....LOL....

but overall.. I will say this.. I choked upped... I am not without feelings... her and Desmond always seem to steal the show... not a bad thing mind you... just a Bad Evil Penny...

The episode was great, but comparing it to Lost's previous finales, this one pales in comparison. It definitely was missing the excitement and surprise. And the main reason it lacked those is because of the flash-forward. The idea of showing the future was great for last season's finale, but it has shown it's downside throughout the new season. Knowing the future has diminished the level of surprise since we already know what will happen and where the story's going. In fact, looking back, the three strongest episodes of the season were all flashback episodes (Cabin Fever, The Constant, Confirmed Dead). The man in the coffin which was a supposedly a huge reveal, certainly didn't feel like one. I know my eyes saw the John Locke in there, but it didn't have much of an impact on me, and Locke's among my favorite losties. Maybe it would've been better had they shown Sawyer or Desmond in it? I don't know. Maybe last season's finale just set the bar too high.

But overall, I definitely enjoyed it. There were some great action. Keamy versus Sayid? That was like a dream fight, and it didn't disappoint. Too bad he had to die. RIP Keamy, you were one crazy badass mutha****a, and you will be missed. The freighter four were awesome. Ben was awesome as usual. But Sun, man, last night's performance had Emmy all over it. Please, give Emerson and Kim the awards. They deserve it.

TV Guide said that Dr. Candle would be in the episode. So a few people thought we might actually see him in "real", rather than on tv. We didn't...what a rip-off!

Locke traveled under than name because his name would obviously set off alarm bells to anyone who closely followed the crash. Someone, somewhere would recognize the name and then realize that others must have survived.

That was very cool indeed. The only thing cooler? To have had Mr. Eko actually sitting there when Sayid looks back at the chair.

And I agree that Jack is the leader that the Island seeks...maybe John was a decoy or maybe they thought he was the one, but he really isn't.

I knew Candle wasn't gonna appear in person after seeing the sneak peek of Ben and Locke at the Orchid. But what about Greg Grunberg? I thought he was gonna make a special appearance on the episode, but he didn't appear at all.

I loved that one too. Hurley always gets the best lines. That was my fave along with Ben's "So." Just pure evil awesomeness.

I think Jin's dead. Even if he was far enough out, who would save him? Faraday and the redshirts moved along with the island. Jin's a dead man. He's already got a frikin' headstone. This is like Rousseau all over again.

I loved how they brought that story line together though...w/the parka, the cut on his shoulder. OBVIOUSLY Ben throws up but it has nothing to do with anything he ate or drank beforehand...he's simply sick from the travel.
We now also know what the hell polar bears were really doing on the island.

Kate's dream was crazy. The guy on the phone told her to go back to the island, but Claire doesn't want Aaron to go back. What? Does the island only want Kate? I wonder if Kate will do what Claire told her, or if she does bring Aaron back, I wonder what the consequences are.

I've been waiting for that for a long, long time. So, Sawyer and Kate's was the spectacular kiss the producers were talking about? I thought Desmond and Penny's was more spectacular. But, maybe that's because I'm a Skaterer (and a Jaterer), and sort of a DesPenny shipper ... But, then again, there were some who thought Desmond and Jack's was spectacular ...

That was creepy. Christian seems to be everywhere nowadays.

I guess i'm the only one who was completely stunned by Locke's appearance in the coffin. I admit he was one of the last people on my list. Maybe thats just because he's my fav character, but still.

I thought the frozen donkey wheel was the perfect way too move the island. It just adds to the mythology. seeing the embers coming out, then the white light....... and the worlds biggest ripple in the ocean. Jesus. Christ.

Not the best lost season finale, but it was up there. Im still trying to process what i saw, gotta watch it again before i even post anymore ideas

Default Loved it!

Ok

I was impressed by that episode. Not nearly as much as Season 3's finale and the first flash forward--That was amazing.

I agree that the flash forwards although fun and interesting have made some parts a bit anti-climactic. But none-the-less I've enjoyed them.

Next season it seems will be "present tense" for the off island people and "past tense" for the islanders. So that should be fun. That will probably be the end of the flashforward thing.

This episode seemed disjointed in the flashforwards. There was no real sense of time, or things coming together. I guess the unifying thing was Locke in the coffin, -----Is Sun involved in his death??????

What the hell was Ben doing just hanging out in the funeral parlor! that was rediculous!!!! Although I did think it was going to be Ben in the coffin. I was stunned that it was Locke. I totally did not see that coming at all. I was imagining, Michael for most of the season, then Ben, then Abaddon and then Marvin Candle (mostly because I really want him to join the cast!)

There are so many questions!!!! I really wish they would just get rid of some of the ones from earlier seasons. Just deal with them and then we can move on.

i'm loving Sun's new bad ass character. I was hoping maybe she would be the person who killed the one in the coffin!

Jin's death was still shocking but not as much as it would have been if we didn't know this in advance.

I enjoyed the Penny and Desi reunion. I wonder where they will go.

I loved that the life jackets were all RED---Red Shirts. That was really funny.

Sayid's fight was amazing.

Desi, I really dont think Sun killed Locke. She said she only blames 2 people for Jin's death, and they are Mr. Paik and Jack.
