Default If you could, would you?

Inspired by what I thought fishhead's "what if you knew" thread was going to be about...If you could know RIGHT NOW how the rest of the story played out, would you go ahead and find out now, or would you wait for it to play out on the show?

I would love to say I would wait, but I know that I would have to look ahead...I do in books, frequently. I would still watch the show, and I would kick myself for knowing, but I am pretty sure I would still peek.

I never peak ahead in a book.. I often look back for a reminder... a name. a moment.. never ahead...

I don't read the lost spoilers... avoid them like the plague... no... the story has been to good to ruin... I am content in my misery... and will continue to complain about the long time it takes to release DVD's... the huge gap between seasons.. and if i live to see the end.. I will see it one episode at a time...

I sgree with talontbo. I hate spoilers, id prefer to learn as the story progresses. If you know what happens at the end it just takes the fun out of the story.

Oddly enough, I don't read Lost spoilers...but I think that the temptation to know EVERYTHING NOW would be too much...
And usually when I look ahead in books, it is just to see if that character makes it to the end of the book, or that relationship...not what happens in between

ahhhh Temptation... yes... its there... and I need to avoid it like the plague.. never has a show with a continuing storyline provided such a temptation to want to know.. not sure there has really ever been such a show as this.... but the closet thing I remember... "Dallas" and wanting to know...

I can't peak for anyone else... but I feel along with you... the same overwhelming urge to peek... but I will not... I just wont... Not gonna do it>>>???

+1, my sentiments exactly. I love surprises, and I love not knowing what's going to happen. I enjoy suspension of disbelief and cherish it as a gift I know I'm going to eventuall "open," but it means more if I have no idea what it is.

HAHAHA

I read the spoiler for last season's finale and was so upset with myself, that I don't think I could do it again. I still love 'teasers', like knowing who's flashback is coming up, or 'Abaddon was seen pushing Lock in a wheelchair'. I want to see it play out I think. Now if someone handed me the rest of the series in DVDs, I'd call out of work and watch them for sure!!!!!!!! If Darleton walked up and asked if I wanted to know who would be alive in the end, I wouldn't though.

i used to read the spoilers, but realized that i liked the shock of revelations as the show unfolds much more, so i stopped and found i'm enjoying the show much more!
really, i find it very easy to give in to temptation, so avoiding spoilers has been really difficult but worth it!

I do love the OMG moments...but even those who say "NO! Never" I think would be more tempted than they are admitting.
