I think Horace backs me up. He is building Jacob's cabin, but I believed him when he said he was building a little retreat for him and his wife. This was pre-Purge. I would say it must have been post Purge, although how long I don't know, when Ben and Jacob got into a rift and Ben somehow trapped Jacob in the cabin. But to me that says pre-Purge Jacob was in power, so likely ordered it, Ben probably gained more power due to its successful execution, and later a struggle for power ensued. | |

I still believe Claire is alive because of the message sent to Jack by Charlie. But maybe Aaron had to leave because of the danger that was on the island at the time. As for 6 years old John picking the knife I think that Richard expected him to pick another object. He seemed to smile when he was looking at Book of Laws. Maybe it wasn't that he pick wrong but that he was not ready to come to the island yet. I am also wondering what powers Widmore has that he could predict Ben's movement and put in writing as a second protcol?

I caught the Dalai Lama thing too. A bit on that........According to their traditions, there are 2 leaders, the dalai lama and the panchen lama. Each reincarnates, but they're staggered in age. There's some political stuff going on right now, but normally, the old dalai lama dies, and is reincarnated, so while he is growing up, you have someone old enough to lead (the pachen lama). There are also specific people who find the reincarnated leaders. The passing of the torch metaphor was very apparent to me. As was the fact that Richard found both Ben and Locke. I wonder who Locke was supposed to be. The wording was very particular. Just as the test for dalai lama, you don't just pick out things you like, you pick out things you previously owned. Could it have been Jacob? Is Jacob actually dead? If he's communicating from beyond the grave does that mean there is no reincarnation? We've seen ageless people (Richard), so who would actually die? I will say that if something like 'Ben dies at the same time as Aaron is being brought back to the island', I'm going to freak out Slightly offhand comment. When I saw evil Claire, I started cracking up from the satirical post I made about evil Claire in retort to the evil Penny theory. Total coincidence, but thought it was funny --Fish

I would like to point something out. Abbadon "Don't Give Up Hope MR. LOCKE" We only know one other charecter who has ever directly spoken to Locke as Mr. Locke, and that person also idolized him in season one, and on top of that they perposely kept Abbadon's face of the screen so you could focus on his words saying Mr. Locke and some version of time travel has been implicated for sometime now, call me crazy, call me nuts, whatever I'm willing to bet that Mathew Abbadon is Walt. Hands down.

I'd also like to thank the creators of Lost for trying their hardest for a Twin Peaks moment in the cabin, very subtle acting on Christian and Claire, and very creapy, now if only there was a dancing midget in this black lodge, I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown if that happens next week.
