| Well, Talontbo, it's been a spirited romp, but I must move on here. A parting gift, though, I'm going to leave you with several predictions, based on things I've noticed. Now please remember, these are not spoilers as I have no connection to LOST or any of its personnel. These are just predictions and if they appeared elsewhere, I'm not aware of it, as I actucally spend very little time on the boards, so ake hs all with a grain of salt. Lapides is actually working for Oceanic. Sawyer will be working for Ben. Last of all, the title of the finale(s) is accurate: "No Place Like Home" means exactly what it says. They're not going home. Oh, it'll look like home (mostly) and act like home (sometimes), but there'll be enough difference so that Jack finally realizes that they've all come back to a different time/space/universe that is actually not theirs. That's why it's so important to take the correct bearing to get back to where you started in both time and space. Again, this will be my last post. Please do yourself a favor and look for things that will point to the theory (multiple parallel timelines) I have expounded. I'm not guessing here and I hope you enjoy the next episodes and the next two seasons. I sure will! Bye! |

| hey JBragg, as for your parting pearls.... I would have to agree 100%... with one exception... Lapidus.. but only fractionally so.... I have placed before the Forum... the Thread titled Doppelganger.... if you read the posts... you will see I agree.. Going Home... just not their Home.... for whatever reason... alternate reality... some fantastic ruse.. whatever... but I think, here we are, the two us... on the same wave length... and again.. if you want to go back.. and select various other episodes where you may have detected the same or similar editing anomalies... I am always more than happy to take the time.... I have now re-watched every episode... at least 15 times each... and still I find new things... you eye is clearly trained to see a more technical aspect... one i am not sure was really intended to be noticed... but it would be interesting to review any others you may have caught.. you can PM anytime... if you wish to share.... It has been fun... don't be a stranger.... |

| Not sure why he cut and run there...and not only saying that he is done with this point, but not posting again? Let me just say that it is standard operating procedure (no pun intended) to stabilize a patient before moving them to continue further life-saving, more in-depth procedures. Mayhew was never moved off that deck...the doc and the supplies came to him. I am quite sure that the medical technology available on a freighter is significantly less than one would get at a hospital, so there probably isn't a lot more that the doc could do in the sick bay than he could do on the deck, once someone fetched his supplies. This is not only the logical conclusion but is BASED ON WHAT WE ARE SHOWN. Oh! I know that that there are serious time issues on Lost, but I honestly think that jbragg was seeing things which weren't there.

| not sure... it is conceivable he detected some anomalous editing.. or simply missed the start point and got confused... Lost can do that... I have more than a couple times been.... "What??? where the heck did that come from???" and have to go back.. re-watch.. and have an "Oh..yeah???" because i missed one thing because I was focused on another thing... happens to me... maybe not to anyone else... that is why I watch each episode.. so many times... |

| well... as the timeline continues forward... Sawyer, Mile and Aaron.. hook up with Jack and Kate... so I guess... we are still on track.... Sayid does hit the camp... not sure I like that... 80 nautical miles.. in a Zodiac... and hits the camp dead on???? TV.. I guess.... well back to the show.. it looks to be a good one.. and though provoking... |

Looks like jbragg was wrong. 'No place like home' filled in jbraggs gap between the freighter scene ending and then later returning to Keamy and the captain. First off, it turns out the thing on Keamys arm was a detonater, and tonight we found out what would go BOOM! if Keamy flatlined. His crew setup a ton of C4 in the ship. This is what Keamy and co. were doing inbetween scenes. now we know exactly why the captain couldn't shoot Keamy, he would blow up his ship killing everyone. Looks like there was no alternate timline jbragg. intersting thoughts, but it looks like your theory was wrong oh, and thx for the headsup!

| AHHH! I didn't get it until just this minute sugar!!! THAT is what the device was and it certainly would take Keamy awhile to build that thing! I knew I was right!!!LOL!!!

| Okay Folks, one last time! The C-4 was on the ship and in place before it even sailed. It is there for one reason only : the secondary protocol. Black ops style is on a need to know basis only. Keamy nor anyone else had any idea the C-4 was there, locked away, until after he read the secondary protocol brief and it would have only taken 20-30 minutes to hook up the pre-placed detonators. When they left, they left the door open because tampering with anything would blow it all up. That much C-4 could have only been there for one reason: to totally destroy the Kahana and any evidence that they had been there (remember we haven't seen them use C-4 before and by the generally accepted logic here, based on lost_grrls' statement, below, they didn't have any till now). Keamy has absolutely no intention of returning to the ship, only leading people to believe he is. His intention is to take Ben and his remaining men through the Orchid to Widmore and when they go through, BOOM! If he really needed the copter, he would have posted one man there to ambush any one arriving to help Lapidus. Now as far as lost_grrls' statement: "This is not only the logical conclusion but is BASED ON WHAT WE ARE SHOWN." What logical conclusion can we draw from Miles' ghostbusting adventure and the pictures and picture frames changing? Hmmmm....doesn't seem logical at all, unless we assume that he was up there for TWO DAYS and grandma had time to go shopping and get some new frames and hang them. After all we REALLY don't know how long he was up there, do we? Or how about this? Sayid jumps in the raft and heads to the island in broad daylight BEFORE Keamy and his men even leave the Kahana (at night). Sayid arrives in broad daylight a very short time later (this is confirmed by Daniels raft trip, "Be right back" and the fact that the raft WAS NOT refueled before leaving the island and an impossible thing for a raft like that to do: no refuel, two 12 hours trips...remember Talontbo, you said night lasted 12 hours), BEFORE the copter even left AT NIGHT. And I believe that I predicted this....oh, yes, here's the quote from my previous post................

| Senior Member | Jbragg, I'm not sure about the whole timeline thing, it makes my head hurt. However, I HAVE to STRONGLY agree with your sentiment when it comes to Lost and rationality haha. Everytime someone on here starts to dismiss something is being less than logical, or unlikely, I want to scream, "DO YOU EVEN WATCH THIS SHOW? There is a MONSTER MADE OF SMOKE! A DISAPPEARING CABIN! TIME TRAVEL!" hahaha. Keep thinking outside of the box, that it what the writers have repeatedly said they want us to do. |
