| hey Mugata, one would think that... the Casimir Effect.. and how it relates to worm hole technology... this seems just a more believable (though not much LOL)... remember... whats his face was very concerned that the 2 rabbits did not come into close proximity to each other, let alone touch each other... Their is the theory.. that identical matter cannot occupy the same space at the same time... if it does it will cancel each other out... Violently.... moving the Island may be a metaphor... for making its known position in time different without really physically moving... or.. simply rotating the warp bubble (terminology used for lack of a better term) so the entrance is no longer at 305 or 325 degrees.... ask yourself.. how long would it take to locate a single 1 degree bearing on a bubble of unknown size??? and even if you did know its approx size.. say 150 miles in diameter.. the circumference I think would be like approx. 471 miles... 1 degree at a time... with all the risk involved with probing each degree as you go... Even Daniel has not mentioned multiple openings or the possibility of moving the doorway.. and how someone could recalculate the new position of the entrance... or even find it... current worm hole theories tend to support a Time variation as opposed to s spacial variation... so the Island doesn't actually move in space.. it moves in Time... |

| Talontbo, i think you are spot on with the how you move the island. Moving the entrance (305 or 325) is a fantastic idea . It would be too outlandish to teleport an island somewhere geographically, but in time..... well, thats just good televison lol.
