Once the show returns at the end of April. The 10:00pm eastern time slot won`t help matters either. Just like last season. Damn whats going on with the people in charge?!!

Tailhook has it right. Of course ratings matter, you can't crow about Lost's ratings when it was #31 and then disparage the ratings system now. You can't have it both ways. The real question is, what is the bottom threshold the network will put up with before deciding to cancel the show outright. I guarantee that number is there, but I don't think the show is pushing that floor yet. Even though they have fallen out of the top 20, I think the show is just below the radar. That should be good enough to get it renewed. Now, if they dropped out of the top 30, that would likely be a different story.
