|  Kill off Desmond I really think it’s about time the Lost writers killed off Desmond. Every time he’s on screen he irritates me and why does he have to call everyone “brother”. Henry Ian Cusick is a terrible actor and the character of Desmond is very unimportant in the whole scheme of things. They’ve killed off some great characters like Charlie and Mr Echo and yet Desmond is still there. Please kill off the character. Does anyone else agree that Desmond is a character just not a worth keeping he’s not in the Oceanic 6 and serves no real purpose. |

| I totally disagree.. his character is central to possible upcoming storylines.. Claire..and Charlies Greatest Hits List.. Evil Penny and the Widmore connections Kelvin and his possible return... Farady's Constant Freighter mutiny possibility..or similar events on the ship.. Not to mention the Jewelry Store Lady and the Monk.... His acting has been fine... his introduction was excellent and his overall contributions through the writers have been quite dynamic... "So Brother"... I am all for a continuing Desmond.... Long Live Desmond!!!!! until he kills Evil Penny Widmore..... then you can toast him.... |

We all have opinions and we're all entitled to express them but when fans the world over shout his praises, magazines (online and off) rave about his talent and even Damon and Carlton describe his performance as "the winning quarterback" ... you're simply out-numbered by those that know talent and by the fans. Sorry. I must admit that you are the very first person I have ever come across, online or in real life, that has said anything negative about his performance. He is a stellar actor worthy of the Emmy that he was nominated for on Lost.
