| So lets see.. Michael lives in Manhattan.. has a kid.. goes by an assumed name(not Kevin Johnson... that name was given to him later)... I say we have a winna winna chicken dinna on Michael being the Man in the Coffin. -TH

| I have to agree. Probably why no one wants to go to his funeral. He has no friends in the world. |

| hey Hex.. I do agree, but it does leave some room for thought.. here are a few questions for you to ponder. How would Jack know Michaels alias??? Would Jack be compelled to inform Michaels Mom and Walter? Would Jack maintain the lie at that expense to his mental well being?? thats a yes.. Why wouldn't Michael have be recognized??? we know the Freighties also have detailed Dossiers on all the passengers and crew of Flight 815? Will it always be that Michael is considered a traitor as Sayid says and not have his true purpose revealed...??? I feel sad for Michael.. and i never liked him... how odd.... |

| Member | I don't think it's Michael! At all. I think the captian knew that "Kevin Johnson" was actually Michael, and kinda using him like Jack tried to at the end of the second season. Using the element of surprise

| I think it IS mike in the coffin, think about it like this Mike goes and see's (somehow) the people on the island and is like "You guys, DON'T LEAVE THIS ISLAND, it's not for you out on the mainland, you've all changed" and then Jack doesn't buy into it and blows him off ("Kevin" then makes some big speech about things yet to be revealed) and jack wants to believe him, but doesn't. I think Mike tell's Jack, "If you don't believe me, go back and look, i'm dead" and jack does, and it messes him up so bad he wants to try and kill himself, which, the island wouldn't let him do... |

| Member | You guys are leaving out the key element of the time that passes from when Michael is on the boat to when that funeral is.
