He's alive, the grave is just a place-holder of sorts to 'fool' the rest of the world. She was crying because she knows that she left him behind.

Claire dead??? how is this even possible??? Charlie died for Claire and Aaron.. and why??? because he was told by Desmond... "I saw Claire and the baby, getting in a helicopter"....

This was one of Desmond's premonitions.. and granted, Desmond told almost everyone, "they are more like jigsaw puzzles... but we know this is not exactly true... Desmond was never wrong... not once... Lightning, Drowning, Spear... all as he saw it... and though we were not privy to the exact Fashvision on the helicopter rescue. Desmond was quite adamant..

here is a theory... Claire died because she left the Island... after delivering her baby on the island... The same thing that kills pregnant women on the Island.. causes death if someone comes to the Island pregnant and then delivers. and then leaves the Island...

Sun would be spared this... She got pregnant on Island then left.... and it would not surprise me to see... If she returns.. she would die.... and perhaps this is why Hurley does not press her to return,,,, Like we have seen with Jack... or Jack doing to Kate...

Jin is probably alive on the island, but I'm pretty confident Claire is dead.

HefDeezy: I think you are missing one point here... Its not a question of the reasoning by one of the Oceanic 6 regarding their decision to leave the island instead of Jin... The Oceanic 6 will be "chosen" by someone, likely Ben. I could see the Oceanic 6 getting off the island, thinking that the rest of the Losties will be rescued as well, the 6 get back to mainland and meet Ben. Ben tells them they have missions to accomplish if they ever want to see their Lost friends again. The Losties are still on the island. I am not sure about Claire being alive or dead, could go either way, but I believe Desmond's vision of her and Aaron getting on the helicopter to be true. And I want to say I didnt shed a tear either because I believe fully that Jin is alive. The writers cant kill him off (and then elude to the fact that he is dead without confirming it 100%) becasue their story is too emotional. They now have a baby and I just cant and wont believe that Jin is dead. He is on the isl

i think that claire will get on the helicopter n gets back but she dies then............aaron is considered as the oceanic six only with her......................n i think and hope that jin is still alive on the island...................

I don't think Jin is dead i reckon he faked death and got a new identity to escape from ???? (the island maybe)????
Look at Michael and Ben Lynus, they've both got different identities aswell..... I even impresss myself sometimes ;0) lol

i think they are both still alive. and hopefully we can get some answers when LOST return in April for new episodes. Maybe we will see flashforwards of the island.... and yeah i would weep too if i knew i would never see the love of my life again.

Who was chosen to go makes as interesting question as who did go. It could not have by lots or not all would have been main characters.Claire may have died once she got to the ship allowing Kate to take her son and raise him as her son. Jin may have been picked only to give up his spot to Sun, which is why it is so painful for Sun now. Remember there is a number of graves. Just who is in those graves is still a question. They may have had to kill the Others in order to let the six go. But Jack needs to go back-so other are still there and alive.

As for crying over Jin's "death" I didn't because I was so utterly confused by the episode!

I really HATED the flashback and flashforward combo. It was manipulative for the sake of creating tension and had no point for Jin. It gave us no information about him that was new.

I watched the whole episode anticpating that Jin would was no one of the Oceanic 6 because I thought Aaron was. So I figured ok Jin is going somewhere else, and that was true, but I thought at the end that he was also in the future (like Ben) and was back working for Mr. Paik in some really bizarre twist---and Sun thought he was dead.

But I was totally off on that.

So anyway, my point it, I was too distracted by the confusing episode and trying to understand what was going on to feel any grief over Jin's death and I love the Jin and Sun story.

As for who is actually dead. I have no idea. I think Claire might be dead, but that does contradict Desmond's flash.

I'm really interested to see what the Oceanic 6 did to get off the island. I think it will be really shocking ----aka Michael Style shocker-----selling your soul shocking.

The mystery of course is why those people as opposed to others. Claire and Sun and Aaron would logically be the first people to be picked if they were allowed to select 6 people...however clearly that is not the case as Jack, Kate and Sayid also leave.

Why Sayid, Kate and Jack would leave is interesting. Those three are supposed to be noble, so what did they do??????

If Sun is one of the Oceanic 6 and Jin stayed behind or gave up his spot...Then obviously everyone back home would believe all except the Oceanic 6 are dead and would families not erect some monumental stone with the date the individual died. Explaining why Jin\\\\'s tombstone reads the date of the crash as his death date.
