1) Jin died on the island. As part of the cover story the Oceanic 6 claim he died in the crash and gets a death date of the day of the crash. Since there are only a couple weeks give or take between conception on or off the island... its easy to claim Sun was in very early pregnancy at the time of the crash. They then go through the motions of a burial with grave marker and what not. Sun comes back there to when she wants to remember/talk to Jin. 2) As part of the deal to become the Oceanic 6.. Jin has to decide to stay on the island. As part of the cover story the Oceanic 6 they claim he died in the crash and gets a death date of the day of the crash. Since there are only a couple weeks give or take between conception on or off the island... its easy to claim Sun was in very early pregnancy at the time of the crash. Sun comes back there to when she wants to remember/talk to Jin. Both are equally valid and you can't disprove either no matter how hard you try because the story was made ambiguous enough to support both scenarios. -TH

| Senior Member | Tailhook, I agree but there is a third option close to #2. Jin might be alive on the island, but may be hiding it (for whatever reason) even from Sun. Maybe there wasn't enough room for all of them to leave, and she wouldn;t go without him, so he faked his death to save her and the baby. She goes to his grave because she truly thinks he is dead, but will find this to be untrue later. |

If Jin actually dies on next week's episode, it will be very, very interesting and a great big warning to the rest of the cast not to drink and drive!!!!

| Because Aaron wasn't born and, therefore, was not on the flight. That's my biggest issue still surrounding that: I imagine, after the plane initially crashed, the world media got the manifest and found out who was on the flight, so they'd know there were no babies, and that one Assie gal was very preggers. Something doesn't add up, and until Lost confirms it, I accept nothing about who the Oceanic Six are other than the five who have been officially confirmed. |

| The sixth is definitely Aaron. I don't care that he wasn't on the manifest, he is a survivor of the flight crash and he was on the plane. Also, do you think they'd rescue 7 people and still call them the Oceanic 6? I don't think so. |
