PB Fan - Widmore doesn't need to recover the black box to convince the world Oceanic 815 crashed in the ocean - the video from the subs did the convincing. If anything, the lack of a black box would seem suspicious.

Also, if that guy walking past Sun's delivery room was an expectant father, he was the first to look so calm, cool and grim. To me, he didn't look like an expectant father but a man looking for Jin.

Reason why I think Jin might be wanted is simply because of his ties to PAIK, which I think in time will be linked to Widmore or Dharma in some way.

What I didn't get was the "he's in a conference right now" bit, was that just the doctor humouring a delirious Sun...?

If Jin really died on the date of the crash,Hurley would have never met him. But Hurley said the baby looks like Jin which means he actually has met him. Juliet told Sun she got pregnant on the island. How did she get pregnant if Jin's dead? So Jin is alive on the island, Hurley and Sun are trying to cover something..........

Sun asked about Dr. Park (who we met in The Whole Truth), and Dr. Bae told her that he's at a conference. I don't see how that shows that Sun is delirious or was being humored.

I don't think anyone has mentioned the "non-mechanical" banging on the freighter. My first instinct was that it was morse code, and Sayid's line lent some weight to that idea. I guess I'll go back and see if I can figure it out.

Also, what the heck did Ray mean in this exchange?

RAY: ... I think you'll like your room. It's on a quiet part of the ship.
DESMOND: This... ship isn't moving.
RAY: Well, if you say so.

Does Ray have reason to believe the ship is actually moving?

The world thinks all but 8 (with 2 more later) died in the crash on 9/22/04. So, it makes perfect sense to have that date on the headstone. Of course, we all know JIn, and many others, survived and lived on the island for months! We just don't know the details of his death or 'supposed death' yet! Stay tuned! At one time or the other both Hugo and Jack have said we have to go back! Must be something there!
