Default Question about "Richard"?

I was watching TV the other day and saw a preview for a new fall show entitled "Cane" starring Jimmy Smits. I swear I saw the actor that plays Richard Alpert in that preview. Is that actor not playing Richard Alpert in the next LOST season? Did they kill off Richard and I missed it?

I can't confirm it is the same actor, but it is very possible. Being that there are so many characters in Lost, none of them really get that much screen time. There is plenty of opportunity to work on other projects while still working on Lost. Just look at all the movies the main characters have been in lately.

I saw the commercial too, it looks just like him But Lost is good for having minor people on diff. shows:
Widmore - on Ugly Betty
Sara - Boston Legal
that mean looking sheriff lady - Prison Break

Thanks for the info. I hope he still plays a role on LOST. I like him. I like the guy that plays Sayid too so I hope he returns also. In the season finale when the shots were heard over the walkie I was surprised and sad and said I was no longer going to watch LOST. But thank goodness for that twist. Whew!
