Default Unfinished business

I cut this from the Fuselage... I was worried it was gonna get deleted and it was too priceless to let get LOST(pun intended)

There has been argument ( almost constant spatting) about "what was that thing we saw in the corner" or "did you you see that out of focus blur."

There have been some concrete questions JUST LOOK AT THIS LIST [**link deleted by the Gestapo**]. Often the answer was, "Oh, they said it was this or that." or "It's sooo crucial to the plot that they can't divulge why." We now know this was BS.

It took three seasons for them to answer WHY LOCKE WAS IN A WHEELCHAIR. and it was nothing. It wasn't cruicial to the plot. They could've had a simple conversation between Rose (Who has virtually disappeared from the script) and Locke.

Now when I see them explain the parts that have been great mystery and speculation I laugh out loud and say things like, "Ivanka said that" or "Avery had that pegged 2 seasons ago" and "I knew Smith was on to something" I never thought that River was right about anything...

It seems the PTB have held us in suspense for so long that their explanations are laughable now.

I started whistling the tune from Gilligans Island when we FINALLY discovered that the cable was a communications line. DUN DUN DUH! UGHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I keep waiting for them to hook up coconuts to it and try to call Hawaii. After all that waiting, couldn't they have come up with something better?

Alfred Hitchcock said the key to suspense is that you can show the bomb under the table to the audience and when you pan up to the heros you can never let the bomb go off. He said that the audience will want to crucify you.

The PTB have taken a page from my Grandpa's joke book instead. How do you keep an idiot [and before you get offended--- I'm the idiot I'm refering to] in suspense? I'll tell you tomorrow.

It's pointless, it has no basis and it makes no sense. Those questions were useless. The one's that I couldn't answer, I couldn't answer because they had not yet been, you know, answered, but if you watch the show and understand the points of storytelling, you'll know that they will be answered. What, do you really think that they showed us the 4-toed statue and will never explain what it's about? If you say "yes", I think my eyes are going to roll right off my head.

Why is it whenever someone is about to insult you they start with "no offense" when they entirely intend to offend?

The Song--- remember the song Danielle wote all over the maps.
La Mer. This is not a mystery. Danielle was probably just doodling on the maps, because she was bored. There's nothing to it.

The numbers... They're everywhere and everyone acts oblivious, even hugo has given up trying to talk about them. And Damon Lindelhof ( Exec Producer and writer, said numbers will never be answered.)
Damon said that the numbers will probably not be answered on the show. But the Lost Experience? That answered it. So, look it up on Lostpedia if you care.

Why don't I tell you? Because I don't care whether you know it or not. My point was that it's been explained and if you give a damn, head to Lostpedia. So there.

***GESTAPO edited because I made fun of Finnland and the poster--- my bad, I couldn't resist and can you really blame me???---***

The rest is from theZealot:

The four toes is an illusion (IMHO). Next time you're wearing sandals count your toes, as long as you're not wearing socks with them ( you know who you are) the strap usually hides your "pinky" toe.

But beyond that... yes, I do believe they will show us why the statue was on the island ( in a podcast they said that people have been coming to the island for a long time - can anyone say atlantis?)

But as for the Mural or Kelvin's identity, or whatever happened to the Degroots and the original Dharma members (not the ones gassed - the twelve sitting in the circle in the orientation film)... No, I think they'll leave those til the final episode (if at all) and then we'll all slap our foreheads and roll our collective eyes at the answer.

And once again you're not insulting me... you're iunsulting about 20-30 other fans who contributed to the list. My questions have all been answered except a few, in the last 3 episodes. Thanks, Damon and Carlton!

I trully believe that cuse and lindelof have people reading this site and others like it to see what questions need to be answered... that's why the third season had so many questions from that list answered...

So if you think it's no big deal then why was the episode titled
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whatever_the_Case_May_Be
A little funny to name the entire episode after the english title of the song.

BTW the episode with the song was written by Damon and directed by Bender - two of the three creative influences in the show.... I think the song (at least the musical notes) are very important. Remember the code for the looking glass was a musical score that only Charlie could figure out?

I noticed you have edited my joke about wearing black socks... but have left all the other stuff (the swearing and name calling) that lead to the joke. And since when is it against the rules to make fun of Finnland?

Guess if you're critical of the show you get slammed easier... don't worry about the deletetion I have reposted the entire article on another site. Including these amusing warnings.

You really wouldn't be pleased at the stuff others are saying about you two knowing there can't be any reprisals.

You do know that when Lost is canceled you won't have this job anymore, right?

I removed the inflamitory stuff and would've liked to hear a response from someone other than the mods who can post in a closed site. But I guess you guys aren't about the free exchange of ideas.

You do know that the reason the other sites exist is because of this type of activity.

There was nothing in the repost that was inflamitory I had removed it after the warning.

The excuse that it needed to be closed in order to review was thin at best. I reread it in about 3 minutes. And yet his (Remus') insults still remain. hmnnn.

Guess abridgement of free speech doesn't qualify as Gestapo tactics...

In my world it does.

Before you prostelitize I know this is a privately owned site, but it is broadcast on the public's bandwidth...

Thanks for being so... Oops... don't want to get banned. I may have to make another ID.

Enjoy

you cant see how that name could be insulting to someone from FINLAND? i will take care of the other posts but going through 3 pages of posts takes time. also, you do realize that when i do that that you too may be getting more edited and warned, right? the thread was closed by another mod while we look at the posts. will see if it is reopened after we get done with it. that could be tomorrow afternoon before it is finished.

Why did you edit my post? and not the one's from this guy? I'm smelling a little gestapo collusion between you and Finny. I think the swearing would've been enough for you to edit his, but I guess you'd like it one sided. That is par for the course.
