those people make me so irritated. A neighbor asked me about Lost. She had no idea who people are and thought Ben was the English guy. I sat there for about 1 1/2 hour explaining the episode to her. Not only was it a waste of my time, but she STILL didn't get it!!!!! People who don't watch it every week, then try to understand it is annoying. Does anyone else have this problem???

I kinda get what you mean, I'm always talking about Lost to friends, and if people I know who havent seen it before say to me "I think I'll start watching that" I tell them to either get Season 1 and 2 on DVD first and watch them, or just to not bother. It's too much of a confusing show to just simply 'start' watching without having seen all episodes.

You don't start a novel from the middle do you? Same goes for Lost. There's way too much background information for a person to just drop in and out of the show. Even one episode missed can confuse you.

People who don't watch the show don't bother me, it's the people that DO WATCH THE SHOW BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON. That's what bothers me. Well, those people are only bothersome when they insist to know what's going on, but clearly have no clue...

| One person: My dad. Oh god, that is the worst thing in the world, he has this mindset that you only need to watch one episode a month or so to get the plotline. Then he lies and says he gets the whole show and knows exactly where it's going because it's "predictable". Complete and utter bull****. He has no idea! And then I explain it and he's like, yeah I know, you didn't have to tell me. UGHHHH!

I have the same problem with my parents too. They think they can watch one or 2 ep. this season and they say it is so predicable. How is it? I never saw Locke killing Naomi coming. People do get on my nerves who think they can only watch it once in a while.
