How in the world is Kate a free woman? You would think the feds would be the first people waiting for the plane of rescued people to look for their fugitive. In fact, why would she ever want to leave the island in the first place? I think this shows evidence of alternate timelines. It has been mentioned that this may not be "our" Jack and Kate, but regardless they must not be in their own timeline or she would be sitting in Jail.
