Arzt WAS MURDERED

Just a coincidence but I was watching the
part were they were planting the dynimite and
it made me have a flash back all the way back
to season one finale when poor arzt was blown
to peices. Well after the little day dream I heard
the part where they were running short of time!
so they had to shoot......SHOOT the dynimite from
a distance!

Well I sat there thinknig of Arzt again and then I just
though of something. What if the dynimite in arzt's hand
didn't blow up on accident? What if some one shot the
stick while holding it? I know that TNT is unstable and all
and all but It just can't blow up like that?
what do you think?

Im am not crazy!!

Dynamite is extremely stable. The point in question in that episode is that it had been sitting around in the heat for years and sweating out its nitroglycerine. Nitroglycerine, on the other hand.. is extremely unstable... which is what led to the development of dynamite in the first place. A stable way of containing it. So yes.. in the condition it was in if the nitroglycerine on the outside was set off it would act as a detonator for the rest of the stick in replacement of the fuse.

Now.. its mighty fishy that when they showed the dynamite in Greatest Hits.. they were absolutely perfect looking sticks.

As per Arzt... ya.. should be possible someone could have shot the dynamite and the sound of the explosion covered the sound of the gunshot.

BTW.. TNT is not dynamite.. or vice versa.

think about it even for lost this is weird.
Kate and Jack were running with the dynimite
and never blew up! Not to mention kate never
blew her arm off fling the TNT around! Who was
the only person who had a gun with them when
they went to the black rock? Rousso! The same
person that again in the third season is dealing
with dynimite!

Arzt held the dynimite far from his body when it
exploded, making it a good sniper shot! It just seems
weird the whole shoot the dynimite and explode thing
sticks out like a sore thumb!

sory if it seems stupid but let it sink in!!!!!!

everyone else had theirs wrapped up in wet cloth, making it safer, i'd assume.

To drive the point home that the stuff was dangerous! Think about the scene if no one blew up... it'd be pretty lame.

Arzt was introduced as a character a few episodes prior solely for the purpose of blowing him up... and for Hurley to deliver that great line: "You've got some Arzt on you"

Well, maybe she's not. There's definitely something fishy about her, and this would prove it, huh?

I don't know...Any supposed LOST truth that involves her, I don't buy into. We don't know any of her REAL story yet...I'm thinking....

She -is- the only major character from season one who we know nothing about. No flashbacks, no real stories. All we know is that she has an ugly daughter and she speaks French :P
