artic scene?

okay, so according to the quote below; what was it? Naomi coming to the island, but what about the other 40% thing?? Unless I am missing something big, I don't believe I know what the other part is. Does anyone know???

2) I'm convinced, and have been for a while, that Penny specifically picked Desmond...She went to the monastery for him specifically, not the wine! There's more to Penny's story than we know.

The question will then be, "DID PENNY REALLY LOVE DESMOND?" Was she his "experiment" and then found a way to love him? What is the "real deal" with Penny & Desmond? Who is Penny really?

The artic scene at the end of season 2 finale. The 2 guys in the bunker with the computer then they call Penny. That is what I'm not really getting.

Haha! Honestly, do we know it was the Arctic? It could have been Upper Peninsula Michigan. I'm pretty certain it's not, but the Arctic isn't the only snowy place on the planet...

I think you're not paying attention to the right things with Penny. That "Arctic" scene with Penny makes it look like the still loves Desmond and wants to find him to be with him again, right? Well if that's how we understand it now, it's all going to change, right? That's why I'm leaning towards Penny choosing Desmond for whatever reason to "mess with", but then she ended up really loving him and couldn't go through with the plan. That would make it 60/40...It would be a complete change if she never really loved him...
