| I think he is an original Dharma person. Why you say? Simple, when Sawyer was locked in a cage and Tom brought Kate to the other one; he saw Sawyer got a fish biscuit. Tom said, it only took the bears 2 hours. Now, it was a zoological station, how else would he know that unless he was Dharma? |

| I've read those sources too... But I hope he doesn't die. I think he still has a story to tell. He needs one flashback at least, I'm sure... I quite like Tom, and reckon he could possibly have been Dharma, why would they let him survive though? |

| Senior Member | That is one of the funniest scenes ever... I always took it as Tom being a sarcastic smart ass. Just the way he said HOW'D YOU DO THAT??? I wish that supermarket thing would have went through that would have sold the DHARMA food... I'd have fish biscuits for every meal But it's possible that he's a DHARMA refugee.

| That's how I took it too. Like he was mocking him the whole time. His pretend amazement when he asked the question just set his response up perfectly. I didn't take it to mean that Tom saw the bears for sure. It was just a good shot at Sawyer. |
