|  Claire's implant The others put an implant inside of Claire to trigger her illness that was used to help Juliette be accepted by the losties. It would seem rather convenient that they put the implant in her to trigger later on. Almost as if it was part of their master plan. But as I recall, their master plan when they had her caught and all drugged up was to extract Aaron and let her die. But Alex was able to get her free of them before they were able to do their dastardly deed. So, if their master plan was to have Claire be disposable, why did they bother putting the implant in her? If they routinely put implants in all their prisoners, why hasn't Jack figured out that he might also have a similar implant that Ben can activate whenever he wants. Similarly, Jack and Kate could also have implants. Why doesn't Juliette think she might have an implant too? Why would they only put an implant in the one person that they expect to kill anyway? |
