didn't lockes dad say that the guy SMILED as he popped the IV

im thinking that guy was sent to get Cooper to the island
by maybe getting him unconscience and then taking him there

maybe, but a paramedic taking someone to the hospital isnt goin to have a face that says "HOLY **** THIS GUYS PROBLY GONA DIE!!!!" lol

That seems to be what happened...the IV goes in, he blacks out, and ends up on the island. The Others have detailed files obviously...seems like a ploy to get Locke screwed up in the head.
