Default The Sickness

So, from last episode, we learn that the "vaccine" if for preventing gettin sick for isolation and/or loniless...

Ben was very specific about that - and we can check it by the fact that desmond stoped using it after Inman's death, which lead him (desmond) to almost kill himself, thinkin that the vaccine was related to something with the air outside the hatch.

Damn! this new season is def answering questions...

I think sebas is confused. He's probably referring to when Ben quotes Of Mice and Men, saying to Sawyer:

"A guy goes nuts if he ain't got nobody. It don't make no difference who the guy is, long as he's with ya. I tell ya, I tell ya a guy gets too lonely and he gets sick."

I don't think this has anything to do with "the sickness", but rather just pointing out to Sawyer that he's not the tough loner he wants to be, that he also needs others. Also, Desmond didn't stop taking the vaccine after Kelvin died. We see in the opening shot of E201 that Desmond is still injecting himself. None of the scenes in the season 2 finale suggest that he stopped taking the vaccine at any point.
