Yes. They said that because apparently a viewer won't Need to participate in TLE to understand the big picture. No, that doesn't mean that the two aren't connected... in fact smaller answers are given out in TLE and at the end the nature of "the numbers" will be revealed.

A viewer doesn't Need to keep up with TLE in order to watch "Lost", but it does help.

R u saying the Numbers are only going to be revealed in TLE???? That would s*ck imo. I would like for them to figure it out on the island...

Are you talking about the shark? because the shark and Dharma Symbol were in season 2.

I think that "the nature" of the numbers is one thing, and why they're plaguing Hurley is something else. I don't know if they will say on the show what the numbers mean, but I doubt it. Since the computer is blown up the numbers are pretty useless to anyone on the island whose name is not Hurley.

I guess your right. I still want to know the origins of the numbers, unfortunately, I just don't have the time to follow TLE. I guess I will have to wait and find out here on TTS.

Finding out why they are "haunting" Hurley will be revealed on the island, I hope. At least that should be interesting. It is better than nothing.

Although, It would be interesting to find that the numbers were infact pointless to Hurley, and that something else was to blame for his bad luck.

Actually, come to think of it, that would fit in pretty well with the misdirections and turn-abouts in Lost anyway.

And as soon as the season 2 DVDs come out, i guess we'll be able to find out first hand if the dharma symbol was removed or not...

But back to my original point... Even if it was removed... Could it have been removed for a plausible reason? Maybe the Hanso Foundation removed it!

I plan on getting the Dharma logo tattooed on my ankle, calf, or wrist.

I'm thinking just solid black in the middle part..

Maybe I find find something of my own to design the middle with.
