| I am going to play devil's advocate here... I am surprised nobody has brought this up yet. I know Oceanic Air's site lists the plane as a 777. But the plane that crashed was an L-1011. Even the longest range version of the L-1011 could not make the flight from Sydney to LA non-stop (it's about 7200 miles Sydney to LA, the L-1011-500 had a max range of about 6100 miles). So, there is no way these people were on that plane going from Sydney to LA. This leads to a lot of other questions, I suppose. |

| That is interesting. The creators of the show, so far, have been pretty adept at covering all the bases as far as the details go. They seem well aware of the audiences ability to capture and scrutinize over every frame of each episode, and to find any online clues in a matter of minutes (gotta love the internet). Clues like hidden dharma logos, and pictures on milk cartons would've gone unnoticed on TV 10 years ago. So, any discrepancy or coincidental reference is fair game for theorizing. FWIW, a L1011: http://www.aircanada.jp/images/fleet...lock-L1011.jpg and a 777: http://vnexpress.net/Vietnam/The-gio...g-777.jpg2.jpg |
