Default snowman joke

For what it's worth, I think I know the answer...

Q: What did one snowman say to the other snowman?
A: Do you smell carrots?

First post in the new forum...the abc one is complete stupidity.

I believe that the question he asked him was obviously a challenge/response....I had thought that "lift it up" was also a challenge response in the stadium while jack and desmond were doing the tour de stad as jack called it.

some other people seem to think that the answer could also be "freeze" or "have an ice day"

The standard reply to this classic joke is actually "freeze".

Did you guys here that Hurley actually told the same joke in season 1 (I think) his punchline was "Freeze"

There are rumors flying around that Hurley may be the "Him" Desmond is looking for.

If Desmond and the mysterious Dharma Corp are using the Snowman question as a way of identifying people they have never met as members of the Corp, then I don't believe the answer to the joke would be the obvious answer; either 'Freeze' or 'Do You Smell Carrots'. They would have an answer that was impossible to guess, so that only people who were really a part of the Corp would know the answer. Something like 'Blue Penguins in the Sahara sweat sand'.

I doubt if Hurley giving the answer to the joke will mark him as 'him'. I think 'him' was either killed in the crash, or in the tail section and we are yet to meet him, or it turns out to be a 'her'.

Default snowman joke

Wasn't that the joke that the nurse told miachael when he was in the wheelchair after he got hit by the car? And didn't he put that on a birthday card for walt. (sorry if i'm getting my facts messed up. I watched the whole first season in one redbull fueled sitting and some of the details are fuzzy)
