Default Valenzetti Equation

I didn't see anything on this yet, so if I missed...a thousand apologies!

http://www.valenzettifoundation.org/

Interesting site...one of its sponsors is Widmore labs and has a link to "Life Extension"

Lots of info (click on everything)...I'm not smart enough to put it all together...help!

Check out Enrico's blog...talks about Dr. Sontag (see below)

Check out his favorite author...S.K. Nave ...she talks about a crackpot...click on the link....sends you to the accuracy institute ...search the site for valenzetti...which talks about Michael Sontag (M.I.T. graduate) and his work on Chthonic...google it and read about it...involves Persephone.

My head hurts...help!

hi, first post and all that

i think this is the direction we're meant to be looking in, because of the 'bad twin' manuscript that sawyer was reading in this week's (US) episode. the writers said there would be a clue in an episode, and what with the troup video and audio exracts from his book being put up very recently, it would appear this is what we're meant to be concentrating on.

i took a different direction from you, SinkingDeeper, and i'm currently reading a plethora of sites about the 'followers of rambaldi'. it's all getting a bit da vince code!

by the way, if anyone comes across a site in the game that requires a password, try this:

sferguson
4879681

it was supplied by www.merrittparker.name, which is the site of a scholar investigating these 'followers of rambaldi'

i honestly think the way to go forward is the valenzetti foundation site, though; the video is explicit in making troup's book about him important, and the link to troup in episode 20 is a good indicator of where we should be looking!

ok, so i followed another link from the valenzetti foundation's site which was to the site of the 'Global Paradigms Corporation', who list as their clients on http://globalparadigmscorp.com/clients.html

Lockheed Martin
Rocketdyne Propulsion & Power
Merck & Co., Inc.
Minnesota Metallurgy
Hanso Foundation
Halliburton
The Coca-Cola Company
Valenzetti Foundation
Hadron Applications
Schering AG
General Electric
RAND Corporation

important ones underlined, there's a few i'm not familiar with, maybe worth googling?

pk1: I agree with your idea re the Valenzetti path to find the next clue. Word of caution about the Rambaldi searches though....I'm not sure where you found the Rambaldi reference, but I'm pretty sure there was something about Rambaldi in the show 'Alias' . Not positive, 'cuz I never got into Alias......but perhaps the whole Rambaldi thing is a red herring with a creative nod to Alias?????

Or perhaps they're going to have an Alias/Lost crossover episode . LOL

it would appear that's the case, actually - i've found references to the followers of rambaldi site ( http://www.dayfornight.com/dev/abc/followersoframbaldi/ ) on alias message boards that predate the game, so maybe it was just an ARG for alias that's been referenced by the lost game.

never mind. there's some paths opened by the comments section of Enrico's blog, i'm having a wander down them at the moment :]

I heard that the Valenzetti Foundation site was just another fan created red herring...which would be depressing if it were true.

Anyway, just thought you'd like to know that in the story about the German governer, "Flüstern in den Bäumen" means "Whispers in the Trees".

Yeah I think that this particular site may be a fan site. It looks like it was very poorly made, and does not have the polished look of a site that cost some money like the new Hanso site.

Also, there is a line at the bottom that very explicitly states that it is not affiliated with ABC. So sounds like it may be a fan site.

Though I think I did read that the URL www.vanzettiequation.com was purchased recently so perhaps ABC is planning on going that direction with the game, they just haven't yet.

yes but that could be intentional. not every site in the game is going to be a flash masterpiece, that would be unrealistic.

and the writers have said that certain elements of the game will be denied/deny their involvement with the game, i seem to remember. it was on one of the podcasts.
