| There is actually an entire sub-forum for this sort of thing and I am going to move this thread there. Actually a lot of the stuff people are putting in the "Off Topic" section should be in the "Comments" section. "Off Topic" is for stuff like talking about politics and music, etc. |

| Moderator ![]() | Yeah but that then begs the question: Who actually looks in the comment box?' People would see it more, and be more inclined to post anything they have if it were in Off-Topic. And no one was complaining about it.

| But how can we ask people to follow posting rules if we don't. People can look in the Comments box just as easily as in the Off Topic box. In fact, I have never seen a general comment/suggestion put in the Off Topic because people know what that is. On the other hand, someone recently used the "Comment" box and a change in the layout was made because of it. Just because it is the easy thing to do doesn't mean that it fosters good organization. |
