| In regards to DocArzt's front page article on shark avoidance-right on, man!! I couldn't agree with you more! It's heartening to see that others share my opinion. Personnally, I feel that the negativity over the finale (and the show in general) is completely unwarranted. I mean, sure it's a frustrating show at times, and some eps are definitely better than others, but come on people, LOST rocks! The questions and frustration is all part of what makes it such a great show. I'm so bored with the predictable crap spewed out by Hollywood these days and I find it completely refreshing to not know what's coming next. LOST is a complex and multi-tiered story, and I love it for that. It seems more like a good novel than some stupid tv show. And I don't always like, or agree, with every turn the plot takes-but that's ok, I'm not writing the show. And if it unfolded exactly how I wanted or expected, I would lose interest pretty fast. Cuse, Lindlehoff, et al should be congratulated on such a great job. And they should be encouraged to keep it up. LOST is not a show for the narrow minded. And if you don't like some eps, or the way it's unfolding, lighten the hell up and enjoy it for what it is-one of the best television stories ever told. |

| Very well said. The only thing I can add to your statement is to say, I agree.

| These guys continue to buck convention! It's just fantastic! They have refused to be pigeon-holed into a "LOST" formula. I don't understand how anyone could be unhappy with what is going on with the show, I really don't. Good to see a couple of you agree with me. |

| Dead on, Doc! I actually read a post (criticizing the finale, of course) that asked "why would you want more questions than answers?". I was amazed that someone who watched Lost would even think such a thing! If we had more answers than questions, there would be no Lost. Or at least no Lost as we know it! |

| I agree with some of Doc's points. But it's all about having differents opinions and we can't always agree with them. If someone didn't like the finale, then so be it. The producers(or whomever made the call) should be more careful and not put in the previews that "all of your questions will be answered". |

The producers have nothing to do with the promotion of the show, that is entirely up to ABC. They don't even have control over how the previews are edited. They were quite upset over the clip showing Walt prior to three minutes, for instance. But all of this is irrelevent, I'm not the "thought police", I'm not telling people how to think, I'm telling them what I think of how they think and offering a fresh perspective. Hopefully I've turned a few of those frowns upside down. Don't build your expectations off what the the previews say. | |

| I am in Doc's camp and very happy to be there! BTW, great site, my first check every morning for LOST info. I am generally a pessimistic person but when it comes to this show I feel positive. There has never (imho) been a show of this calibur with such great multidimensional characters portrayed by continually growing actors plus writers who pay attention to what viewers are saying and actally delivers. I love to escape into the LOST story and think of it as a big jigsaw puzzle with a million pieces. It takes a long time to put it all together but the fun is in doing it. Each time you come back to it you see something new. Also, a big hello to DR, I like the mystery novel comparison! Nice to 'see' you on this side of the world!!! |

| Are you saying that there won't be a George Clooney guest spot on LOST? That Ross and Rachel's plane to Paris won't crash on the island during 2007 sweeps week? This doesn't fit the formula. Joop won't like it. |

| Senior Member | I love LOST, and I agree with Doc completely, but let's all pray Bush dosen't think the show is real and blame Dharma for 9/11, and go to war with the others and losties. |
