| Don't get me wrong, i love charlie. But there are things about him that really make me wonder. He always gets out of dangerous situations. In season one jack gets burried and injured when the caves collapse, but Charlie comes walking out just fine. Then in live together, die alone Charlie comes out of the hatch a little bloody and with messed up hearing, but he gets out all the same. We don't even know what happened to ecko and locke. Then there was that wierd moment where claire asked him what happened in the hatch and he says nothing. NOTHING? There was an explosion in which two guys could have (but in my opinion didn't) died. It was so wierd. Also when charlie lights the jungle on fire i can't recall people being overly mad at him. It was, "that's okay, don't light things on fire again charlie." He is really starting to freak me out. THoughts?

| Senior Member | dont forget he was also strung up by his neck for a considerable amount of time he's either very unlucky getting caught up in these situations OR very lucky to survive them. or both

| I guess the thing i don't understand is why he wouldn't go help ecko and locke in the hatch. He is basically leaving them there to die. And he talks like everything is just fine and dandy. oh and good point about the strung up by the neck thing!! he should have died there too!

| Senior Member | i see where your coming from and i do agree about just leaving them for dead, it is a weird thing to do but could he be in shock? an explosion like that would certainly dissorientate someone quite a bit ...

| A couple of other instances is in the first episode when the plane explodes the debris lands right next to him and when ecko tells him to go climb the tree and look for the crashed plane, the smoke comes. Had charlie been down there the smoke may have gone after him. Nothing like climbing a tree at the right time.
