I once said in a forum that I came into Life for Damian Lewis but now I stay for Dani Reese. Shahi's Dani Reese is easily one of the best female characters in TV in a *long* while. I love that Shahi was finally given an opportunity to play someone more than just a woman with a sexy body. I also love that for her character what she looks like is the least of her problems. She's a busy cop, her work is her life and besides she has issues bigger than a Mars crater to deal with. She has no time to obsess about her looks.

Honestly, she's doing amazing things with that character. Early on I confused her with Brooke Langton (the lawyer) but there's no way I'd do that now

She is one amazing actress, I've seen her in other things. But, nothing like Life, just amazing. Seeing her in other projects makes me think, That people just don't see her as this "Too pretty" type of woman, That they see her as an Actress. An amazing one at that. I hope she continues doing what she does, and Come back to the L word...please, I beg you. =]
