Fox’s upcoming police drama, K-Ville, is about life in New Orleans two years after Hurricane Katrina wreaked havoc and destruction upon the largest city in Louisiana. However, though the streets continue to be chaotic, criminals roam free and crime labs, jails and police stations still face ruin, a dedicated group of cops are ready to reclaim and rebuild their beloved city. The series, which was created by writer and executive producer Jonathan Lisco, promises to deliver a mixture of intriguing crime and dramatic personal stories, spanning from Garden District’s Victorian Mansions to the Lower 9th Ward. To know more about the cast of K-Ville, read on. To read the rest, click here.

If people have a hunger for the drama of living in, and rebuilding my home, maybe they could actually visit. Or is bloody, glamourized, overblown sorrow just too good to turn away from?

The music! Mention the music. You should be applauding whoever picked "Boom Boom Boom", played by Big Head Todd & the Monsters, with John Lee Hooker! This song fits the show perfectly! Don't mind that BHTM is my favorite group, and I immediately recognized this song!

i'm from new orleans and i thinks the show is a great idea. the people in new orleans are truly wonderful and unique. i was born and raised there and i miss it terribly. it makes me happy to be able to turn on the tv and get a glimpse of home. charity hospital, bourbon street, magazine etc., i can't wait too watch. and i don't feel exploited about it either. i feel exploited by the people who think peoplr from new orleans have wasted thre time and are not worth thinking about anymore. i feel unwelcomed as an evacuee, and love the friendly dispostion of my people and my home (new orleans).

Give the show a chance. One of the reasons people will watch is because of the love the country has for N.O. Don't turn into one of those" no one understands our pain " pity seekers. We know it's rough over there, this is an effort to honor your city.
