i watched the pilot on nola.com, and i think i have mixed emotions about it. on one hand it's great to see some light being shown on the city and the people who genuinly want to rebuild, and i agree, the music is really an asset to the show...on the other hand (and i guess it's because i was born and raised here, and i know better) the "type" of crime seems a litte far-fethced. example the drive-by in front of the cathedral. in my short 22 years of living here, i have never heard of a drive-by in the heart of the french quarter. sure the crime is outrageous, but for the most part it's isolated in the outscirts of the city anyway, i did love the fact that boulet knew his new partner HAD to be from the city because he said "neutral ground" instead of median...nice touch! good luck to the show, i hope everyone gives it a chance, and i can't wait to see how it developes!

im sorta worried about waching it because i dont want to relive that disastor again.... i want to leave it all behind even though i cant its a part of my life but i want me my family and my city to rebuild and move on ..........

Boulet's wife was played by Elise Neal. And it took a lot of detective work on my part to find out. The only site that had her in the credits was the tvguide site.

BIG UPS TO ANTHONY ANDERSON FOR DOIN' HIS THANG.I LOVE THE SHOW AND CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT AGAIN.I HOPE IT LAST FOR MANY SEASONS TO COME.I ENCOURAGE MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO WATCH SO THAT THE RATINGS WILL GO UP.I JUST LOVE THAT THE ACTORS DON'T DO THE LONG DRAWN OUT THICK SOUTHERN ACCENT.AGAIN BEST WISHES TO THE SHOW.

the show is filmed on location in new orleans...and that is one of the things that make this show cool...i figured the people from nola would be happy to see their hometown made the main character in a primetime show..but instead a lot of them just give negative comments like "y dont yall jus come out 2 da N.O. an get a glimpse of reality. Yall b*tches wanna make a show on how we livin....
" ...that's just "tough guy" talk...im not from there but i love the show...who cares that it's not 100% accurate...
