| The clock may have run out for NBC's science fiction drama but for fans, the journey has just begun. Like other television series that have been pulled off the air or shows on the brink of cancellation, devoted fans of Kevin Falls' Journeyman, the show about a reporter who involuntarily travels through time, are seeking ways to save the program and get it renewed. Given that Journeyman takes place in San Francisco, California, fans have decided to send one box of San Francisco's own “Rice O Roni” to the execs at NBC. Along with the treat, a “letter from the future” is attached that contains fans' sentiments and a list of creative ideas that will hopefully get the network's attention. | Networks do not care what the fans want they only care about ratings, which are done in houes of people who are not very diverse. That is why all these stupid reality shows have been on so long. Reneew Journeyman, one of the best shows on TV! |

Thank you for posting an article on this! It's an awesome show, and any effort to see it saved needs all the attention it can get. A truly fantastic show!

It's pathetic that NBC chooses to cancel this show which has been one of the best new shows on the air this season, and now it's not going to be renewed. This is one of the reasons why I stay away from network TV and stick more to satellite/cable channels. This is one of only 3 shows that's drew me back to network, and now it's one less hour I'll spend on network TV, good job NBC. Hey I know how about another reality shows that's the future of network or is it actually the reality of it now, pathetic I repeat, pathetic. Take care. Peace To All

This is the same thing I posted on the Journeyman front page, but whatever. I wouldn't mind pasting it around a million more times... Serials just cannot survive on network television. Do viewers these days have an attention span of a three year old, or do they all suffer from ADD and require reality TV crap-fed to them? (This would exclude the people on BuddyTV, because if they all had the brains to rank Journeyman in the top 5, they all deserve a lifetime supply of pizza sandwiches) NBC is more sensible than FOX... couldn't they at least hype the show a bit more? Regardless, I'm glad we're getting some closure... but WE NEED MORE JOURNEYMAN!

Journeyman is the best show on tv right now-far surpassing Bionic Woman or any other show NBC has right now. I can't believe that they're ready to take it off the air and not finish out the season. You suck NBC. C'mon Fox or USA network, bring it over to your side of the fence and keep it going. The SciFi channel would be perfect for it. C'mon "Tom" from the 4400. You're Dan Vasser's dad-buy him that new car (network) that he's been waiting for.

I certainly don't want "closure"! I want NBC to wake up and start supporting quality programs like Journeyman for a change, in stead of assuming that every great show should automatically come with 15 million raving fans and massive advertizing revenues with no effort on the part of the network itself.
