| Time may be running out for NBC's Journeyman. According to inside sources, the Peacock network is considering pulling the show in two weeks unless ratings improve. The news comes shortly after NBC announced that fellow new drama Life would be given a test-run in Journeyman's Monday at 10pm time slot on December 3, following the Heroes fall (and likely season) finale. The news could not come at a worse time for fans of quality serialized television already reeling from the writers' strike and its impact on shows like 24 and Lost. Slowly but surely, Journeyman has developed into one of the most intriguing shows on TV. The plight of San Francisco journalist Dan Vasser (Kevin McKidd) and his sudden time traveling jumps is becoming even more dramatic as the FBI is digging into his life, getting closer to the truth. | Love this show, as well as LIFE and CHUCK.. the writers strike is all about new media, and fair compensation for their work... We watch online, we use TIVO, DVRs ...we download and stream.. WHAT IS WRONG WITH NBC? that they'd pull a quality show, with a loyal fan base, with viewers who watch differently than in the past. |

I only watch Journeyman (and just about everything else) on Tivo. It's time for the networks to get with the program!

Please, please, please keep Journeyman ON!!!!!!!!. I love this show. I often watch it again online at the network website at least twice a week to watch my favorite episodes. As the writer above said, we do not watch TV like are parents did back in the day. We have TIVO, DVR and download abilities. To only look at the ratings from the Nelson (which also needs to change how they get their information) is using a dinosaur approach in the 21 century. Journeyman is a great show and has a huge following. Just look at the groups on Facebook and Myspace and see the comments and discussion that go on.

Oh come on!!! Why does NBC always do that when I start enjoying the show? FYI I don't even watch NBC if it is not for the show like CHUCK, HEROES , JOURNEYMAN on Monday night. I am totally tired that all TV Networks started pulling out the series once their performance are slow. Who's to be blame? The person whom arrange the schedule, that's who! Why would you have it shown at 10pm-11pm slot when most of the people would be either be in bed or watching news on other network.

I guess the advertisers are not getting their revenue streams since people like me keep watching the downloads. Peeps at NBC are behind in the past, not even in the present, let alone the future of tv. Sad, really. Dinosaur tv, grandpa & grandma in the boardrooms, not with the myspace/facebook crowd. *sigh* -Melissa

NBC needs to wake up and realize how much Journeyman, as excellent as it is, has been mistreated. They put it in a horrible time slot for its content and subject matter, they don't promote it worth crap, they don't air repeats of it left and right (as they do for shows like Bionic Woman, which isn't even doing AS WELL as Journeyman, even with its additional exposure), and then they wonder where their viewership is. Nevermind the fact that their methods of calculating viewership are straight out of the stone age. When incredible shows like Journeyman are threatened while absolute garbage stays on the air everywhere else, I stop wondering why I've all but given up on network television.

I sincerely hope that they don't pull this show. However, getting your friends to watch won't matter if they aren't Nielsen homes. Unfortunately we are stuck with them as the measuring stick for ratings. The show is really getting good, even though it started out great to begin with. It would be a sad day.

Had a thought about the campaign...maybe a mirror or a calendar? Doing a sci-fi show about time travelling and ignoring modern technology is weak. Then again they do travel to the PAST...perhaps NBC needs the wormhole to open on them and bring them back to 2007.
