Let's say the strike isn't settled by Christmas.  Let's say it's not even settled by the time summer hits.  What, then?  What do fans of scripted content have to look forward to in 2008?  The pickings will be slim, but there are going to be some glimmers of hope for scripted drama lovers.  Fans of half hour comedy, I'm afraid, are out of luck.  Unless The New Adventures of Old Christine does it for you (there are eight or so episodes set to air), there's not much out there.  However, in the drama department there are a few rare series who will air their entire uninterrupted seasons in 2008.  One of those is Jericho.

"Jericho" Season 2 would be a highlight....whether or not a writers' strike was in effect. Can't wait for the next 7 episodes!

That could be the hardest poll ever. I love Lost, and the upcoming 13 episodes represent the final season of The Shield, which has been getting better with every season. And I'm sorry Jericho fans, but The Wire is the single greatest television series of the past 20 years, possibly ever. It is complex and rich and it tells a story that needs to be told. Oh, and quit slagging on Old Christine: that show is actually very funny.

now this is a show with good cute chicks and lots of romance, how a show it's supposed to be

but there are too many guys hugging or doing gay stuff, that ain't right.

so jericho needs more tough chicks in romance like buffy, they could cast cool chicks like gurlz from the OC, faith or rory gilmore

Are you retarded? Nobody (apart from the little group that parade around thinking Jericho will some day be a hit) cares about this show. It was a bad decision renewing it. There were what, 7 million people wtahcing the finale? And since then, how many newcomers have there been? Not many. The show just isn't catching on - and the DVD sales show that. Just get it through your head, nobody cares!
Oh, and I dont see why you're making out there wont be much on, and people will need to cling to this piece of !@#!@ show. 24 starts up next year, as does Sarah Connor Chronicles, lost, the shield, the wire etc. People dont go around searching for something to watch (well, unless they dont have lives) for the sake of it. I'll be laughing when CBS pulls the plug on Jericho for the second time. This show has terrible writing, terrible cast (apart from Sprague Grayden) and it tries too hard to be the next Lost. Terrible, just terrible. Its a show not worth getting into. Just face it, nobody cares a

Hey Kelly Kahl, I mean, anonymous........don't be bitter. We won fair and square. Now, go look for a job somewhere else, cuz I'm sure CBS is going to boot your sorry a$$ soon.

JERICHO -- ONLY FOR SMART PEOPLE.

Anonymous: You seem to care a lot, since you're going out of your way to put the longest comment on here and trash the show. If you don't like it, fine...don't watch it. Otherwise, quit calling people names, acting like an ingrate, and hiding behind an anonymous name. That 'little group' of at least 7 million people have a problem with being called 'retarded.' You should be ashamed.
