Jericho stars join strike Production for the seven-episode second season of Jericho wrapped up in September, but this doesn't mean that the cast and crew have not gotten involved with the ongoing writers' strike, which has already caused several shows to shut down and/or refrain from airing new episodes.  On the contrary, it seems the “Jericho family” has been spending a significant amount of time on the picket lines, which is why the show's official blog, The Salty Scoop, has not been updated regularly.

“Hi all! Long time since we've updated…our apologies,” an anonymous crew member posted on the blog last Friday.  “As I'm sure you've heard, the writers have been a bit pre-occupied.  The amount of support from you the fans during this time has been great.  Thanks and keep it up! It means so much.”

With this strike, you'd think CBS would push up the airdate or something. But alas, not such luck.

Bring Jericho back sooner I say! Good for the gang of Jericho........i hope Skeet is filming somewhere and that is why he isn't picketing. I'm anxious for a big screen Skeet project.

I know I would love to see the new seven episodes of Jericho right now-but there are so many specials on in December that it could be preempted by the holiday specials. January is not that far away. We need more promotion and CBS is beginning to promote the show. Jericho Rocks!
