While CBS' Jericho remains in uncertainty, needing a continued show of strong support from its faithful following to carry on, it has lent its own assistance to military personnel currently serving in Iraq. The troops currently part of Desert Sentry recently received care packages courtesy of Jericho Rangers for Our Troops, which included copies of Jericho's first season DVD.Jericho Rangers for Our Troops is the re-purposing of the original Jericho Rangers movement responsible for pushing CBS to re-think Jericho's planned cancellation at the end of its maiden season. Pressure from Jericho fans, led by the Jericho Rangers, has resulted in a seven-part second season. To read the rest, click here.

I think that the Jericho fan base is so incredible. It is such a diverse group of talented, funny and intelligent people. There are loads of patriotism, community service such as raising money for Kansas towns devastated by the tornadoes. Why in the world hasn't any of the other media picked up on the efforts of the Jericho fans and their passion and drive not just for the show but for others in need? Is patriotism and generosity not news worthy? Keep up the GREAT work Jericho Rangers!!!

I couldn't agree with you more nobodysbaby! This effort by Jericho fans makes me so proud. One would think CBS would set up and take notice if no one else. Perhaps they don't want to hear news about any group supporting the Troops.

Would it be possible for you to start linking to the site where you are getting this info? Just leaving it as "Jericho on CBS" could leave people to believe that it is CBS.com where you are getting your information. That would be a faulty assumption, so I would like to see proper credit given. I do not mean to be difficult and I hope you understand that.

I am so proud to be a part of this group of fans. From the nuts campaign which not only got our show back but sent peanuts to food banks, homeless shelters and the troops, to the $20,000 we raised for Greensburg, Kansas to this latest effort to send DVDs to the troops, this group of fans are the most generous people I have ever had the pleasure to be associated with.
