Alicia Coppola Talks 'Jericho,' which Still Awaits its Airdate

When CBS pulled the plug on the musical drama, Viva Laughlin, after abysmal ratings following its first two installments, many followers of CBS' returning Jericho hoped that the Skeet Ulrich-led piece would finally air as its replacement. After all, didn't its producers say that timing is of the essence if Jericho is to gain enough strength and momentum to show the network it is worthy of a full second season?

In any case, The Amazing Race is filling the void left by Viva Laughlin and Jericho, which has finished filming its seven episodes, continues to await its airdate. In the meantime, here's a nice little interview with one of Jericho's stars, Alicia Coppola, who spoke to Jericho on CBS.

I was very sad that Jericho was ending. I am glad that the viewers spoke and now we got seven episodes in the bag. Great Going Fans

I love Stanley and Mimi on Jericho, I can't wait for the new season to start, it is the only show besides The Office that I make a point to watch.

NUTS! man that sucks that they didn't play Jericho instead. i'm like sitting on the edge of my seat here waiting for season two ta play! oh well at least we know it'll play eventually. =)

Me too! I have been waiting patiently for the return of Jericho but I understand that we need to have alot more advertising of Jericho before it returns to tv. I don't want to give CBS any more ammunition to say it didn't succeed because of ratings not being there.

CBS should start promoting JERICHO.
So many people I talk to, don't even know that JERICHO is coming back.
