Exclamation International LOST Petition: "Spoiler-Silence"

Hi, I'm a Spoiler-Silence foot solider, here to deliver a message to all LOST fans:

-------
Dear LOST fans,

The objective is simple - to ensure that our final few seasons of this wondeful show we know simly as LOST, is not ruined by spoilers and those who use them irresponsibly.

Co-Producer, Damon Lindelof, says it best:

You're only going to see The Sixth Sense for the first time once. There's only going to be one time when you watch the movie and not know that Bruce Willis is really dead. That's what we pride ourselves on doing in our show, those kind of twists and turns that grab you. I think there's a lot of responsibility to be taken on the part of the fans, and on the part of the press, to not destroy the viewing experience for people.

We wholly agree with Damon and Calton - we will only experience a show like LOST once in our lifetimes, therefore we - the LOST community - must come together to protect those who do not wish to have their viewing experience ruined by spoilers. We must make a stand against those who purposefully wish to ruin the creative works of the LOST team and our enjoyment, by spreading spoilers.

Please show your support for this anti-spoiler cause codenamed, LOST: 'Spoiler-Silence', by signing this petition, getting your friends and family to sign and by linking it whenever you can. The more people who sign, the greater awareness we will get and who knows, maybe the powers that be might also sign to show US, THEIR support.

Please show your support by signing the petition:

thanks! I never saw the sixth sense you totally spoiled it for me!!!!!!

j/k I understand. I read a spoiler about the season 3 finale and it ruined it for me, however there are people out there who prefer to be spoiled. But in all fairness those who love LOST want to know about the show, what is going on with the next episode/season. I know now not to read the spoilers that say will ruin the episode for you. Do we want to know who is going to die? YES, it softens the blow for us. With Charlie, whom I am still very upset about I wanted to know. I even love the slogan "Save the Junkie, save the show".

oh and if you want people to sign the petition go to www.stationzer0.com and post it there as well.

First of all.. yes.. its highly hypocritcal to put a spoiler for one show in a petition to stop other spoilers. Second.. if you don't want to be spoiled.. don't read the information. It really is as simple as that. Third.. the episode is usually released by the network on the web a day or two after it airs no? And fourth.. i'm highly skeptical of *any* petition as usually its just a way of culling personal information to sell to marketers and spammers... and by putting forth an issue as ticky-tacky as this.. I can almost guarantee thats what you're doing.

No way. lol I love spoilers!
Not the really big ones [like the ones about the S3 finale - I didn't even read those], but the little tid-bits! They keep me alive in this long hiatus!

Amen to no big spoilers!!! Luckily I quit looking before the "rattlesnake in the Mailbox" hit the net and blew it for lots of people. I watched the Sixth Sense after it had been out for 6months so I was the only person in the theatre that was surprised. There was no energy in any of the "gottcha" moments. I was disappointed. That being said, I want Lost to be what the 6th Sense never was for me--shocking.
