While a sex tape might be a right of passage to celebrityhood for some, New York (Tiffany Pollard) earned her fame the old-fashioned way: by vying for love via a reality series. She built her audience one catfight, curse-out and rambunctious make-out session at a time via I Love New York and its predecessor, Flavor of Love.

So when rumors of a sex tape and some indistinct footage emerged earlier this month, she was quick to set the record straight. It's not her, she says, and her denial is both a quintessentially New York moment and perhaps the most entertaining scandal denial ever.
